The Diiva Control Panel, which appears in the upper-right of the screen when Diiva is running, consists of three components:

Network Progress Bar This bar shows the current status of any network activity, including server connection, article list retrieval, and the status of the download queue.

List Selection Tabs These tabs dictate which file browser is shown. The "Local" tab displays the local file browser, which shows only those files present on the hard drive. The "Network Groups" tab displays the list of available newsgroups. The third tab, whose title is an abbreviation of the currently selected newsgroup, displays the file browser for that group.

Sort Menus These pop-up menus allow you to select how the image list is sorted. The "Sort Categories" menu controls the manner in which the category headers are sorted, and the "Sort Images" menu controls the manner in which the images within categories are sorted.
